Best “Top of the Line” IWB Appendix Holsters

No experience with any of the others.

I've carried P365, P365 Xmacro, and glock.19 in LAS Concealment Ronin 3.0 holsters for a couple years now. I love them. No issues whatsoever.

Belts matter too. I've used and enjoyed KORE essentials ratchet, Nexbelt ratchet, Tenicor zero belt, and Hunter Constantine cumberbun style. All were great and fill a roll.

Is the Raven Concealment VSB the executive 3D printed version? I’ve been trying to find reviews of it but found literally only one

It looks very interesting, but I hesitated to buy it based on the price for something so unique
Best holster ever made. Been carrying professionally for 20 years and if its made for your gun its the best there is. Only hiccup is you may have to run Bullets rearward on spare mag depending on your setup. Not a deal breaker.

I really like txc holster for p365 macro wish they supported the tlr1 for my echelon.

For the tlr1 pistols I use the tier 1 MSP and added grey matter concepts double wing to attach a magazine and a tourniquet.

For no extra add on I use las concealment tanto with grey matter concepts Wizard sleeve for the tlr1 carry’s I don’t need a wedge but it might add to the comfort

I researched a bunch recently and ended up getting a Vedder Light Tuck for IWB appendix carry for my p365, and man it is WORLDS above the other couple holsters I tried (granted, those were cheaper Amazon types. It comes with a claw and 3 different wedge sizes (small add on options) and with the wedge it is extremely comfortable and I can carry with a pretty tight fitted t-shirt and still not print. Sitting in the car or at a desk is comfy too. Highly recommend and a bit cheaper than some of the other recommended top tier holsters. They’re custom made so you can get them to make it with or without a light pocket, optics cut, etc. You can even message them if you have tall suppressor sights, gas pedals on an Icarus or similar grip module, etc and they will custom make your holster for the same cost as the regular models I believe.

Tier 1 axis elite +1
They also have the MSP series which holds multiple guns based on the light. TLR-1, x300, or modlite

Also, since I assume you’re in Cali lol a solution for carrying with sportswear (sweats/shorts) is leisure carry belt. Similar to the concealment labs liner but doesn’t wrap around your body, it uses ulticlips and is rigid enough for the holster.

I’ve seen those, they look like a good option for gym or board shorts. Have you tried them? Comfortable in regard to feeling like your gun is secure?

I’ve never used a wedge, but just based on hearing about them I wanted one on my next good holster. I’m a father of 3 under 5 and have started developing the matching dad bod so it sounded like a wedge could help with keeping the grip from bulging out

You’ve tried them and don’t find them that necessary it sounds like?

Yeah they make one for the P365 Macro which is my other carry gun besides my Glock 19. I would’ve bought one of that holster already because the whole design behind it makes so much sense and sounds like the future of holsters being designed around your body first, but they’ve been out for a couple years and after lots of digging I have only found 1 single review. The review was glowing, but it seems odd that after that much time it’s not talked about at all, although that may come down to them not just paying influencers to review their products

I recently got a Hunter Constantine and it’s a game changer for me comfort wise. Makes it so much less noticeable I’m wearing a holster when bending or sitting. It’s an amazing belt

I run a Safariland Incog X. But have been looking into a Phlster enigma setup when I wear casual/gym clothes that dont have a belt or can cinch down.
I considered the Phlster enigma, but it seemed like enough extra work to get dressed that I might be deterred from wearing my holster just to run to the store or something, where as a belt clip holster I can take on and off without removing my pants. Otherwise for continuous use throughout the day it sounds like one of the very best setups

Yes. There is lol foam under the ulticlips to provide some cushion. Overall very comfortable..

My bad on the gut shot

lol my gut shot is only loved by my wife and that’s because she gets to play with what’s underneath it, otherwise mines worse haha

I live in the Palm Springs area and summers are brutal so I think I’ll try one of those to open up the options of shorts I can wear when carrying

Tried the Tenicor Velo, didnt like the built in wedge. Returned for a Certum, l, no pillow, no wedge, love it.

Waiting on a T1C XIPHOS Elite. I hear good things so Id like to see how that one feels. Based on that, ill buy another for a different firearm.

Maybe you get a winner on your first one but most likely youll buy a few and go through some trial and error.

I went with TXC CVRT for my xmacro build. I specifically didn’t want a sidecar setup because I don’t plan on always carrying a spare mag, but wanted the option.

It hasn’t been delivered yet, so not sure if I’ll like it yet or not. The lead time was 4-6 weeks when I ordered and I’m sitting at 5 weeks.
Yeah that’s something drawing me to the TXC CVRT too. Since I started carrying appendix it’s always been sidecar rigs, but I’d like the option to not always have a spare mag, and that looks like a really well designed holster

Its the price. Also most people chase race aiwb holsters now. Time and place. Ive chased holsters for a long time. Probably realistically over 4k over 20 years. Im hoping they do a 17/47/19 style. In the easrly days of the vsb pre release orders they teased a double stack version. If you value concealment and comfortability the vsb does not disappoint.

I can report back next week how it is. I just got the shipping notification today.

Yeah I’ve gone through like 2 appendix and 3 hip holsters since I started carrying a couple years ago, but they’ve always been budget options or crap from Amazon. I treated holsters like a non-critical piece of gear I didn’t want to “waste” money on. Not sure why I had to buy so many to learn that lesson lol My mindset now is it’s a crucial piece of equipment and I’m willing to spend the money buying a good one and potentially trying multiple and selling what I don’t like if necessary
