CCW AZ CCW

I live in az and keep saying I will get mine. 🙈 but with constitutional carry it’s been slowing my process down lol.

Advantage would mainly be skipping the background check when buying firearms. May save me 15 minutes there. And other is carrying in a place that serves alchohol but then again I would be drinking so k wouldn’t carry there anyways and also a lot of places are marked no firearms that serve.

No firearms allowed signs do carry weight here and even having a ccw doesn’t help or exempt you.

CCW instructor suggested it because of reciprocity between FL and surrounding states. So if you have CA, AZ, and FL, you can carry concealed legally in 37 states. Figured why not. Process was super easy and they processed everything quickly. And the CCW course I took was accepted in all three states, so didn’t have to do any extra training.

You definitely should get your AZ CCW soon. The hardest part about the whole process, as a CA resident, was going to my local UPS store and spending about 20 minutes having my prints rolled with live ink, then having them pack the cards up in an envelope and mail it out for me. That's all it takes.
 
Just did my fingerprints last week. Gonna try to do Oregon non resident too.
 
Got my AZ CCW within 4 weeks.

FL within 4 weeks as well but UT a little over 5 weeks for approval but all three arrived the same week.

If you guys are going to get AZ, get UT and/or FL also, all three covers NV.
 
Update: Application approved.

Timeline:
01.29.25 - Application sent, found a Fieldprint Vendor (Postal Plus) in Stockton, CA and scheduled.

02.08.25 - Fingerprints completed.(No fee to roll?!? Asked and stated it shows no balance?)

02.10.25 - Fingerprints received as stated on Permitium

02.26.25 - Received an automated call from AZDPS

Process was smooth, fast, and very convenient if there is a field print around.

Hopefully I receive it in the mail next week or so..

I filed for my Arizona CCW renewal online on December 28th, sent a request for an update on February 13th, and received a response that my CCW was on its way on February 19th. Super easy. JH
 
I uploaded my initial AZ application on January 8, mailed my fingerprint cards the next day, followed up by email on February 24, and received an email informing me of approval February 27.
