Question AR 9mm Reloading

Looking for some load suggestions for 9mm PCC. Have a couple of AR pistols and carbines. Thinking of 124gr bullets and maybe Tite-Group or Bullseye powder.

I load 9mm the same way for pistols and carbines. Info straight off the hodgdon website works for me with titegroup.
I have heard some ARs are picky about OAL with flat nose heavies.
I do expect 115s and 124s to pick up speed, and the 147s to stay subsonic out of longer barrels.
Subsonic 9mm out of a carbine in the open desert is nearly hearing safe.

The top PCC shooters I’ve seen like the “snap” of the lighter faster bullets. Since the longer barrel provides increased velocity, they’re going down to 100s. Max Leogradis worked on a 100gr PCC Blitz load with SuperVel.

be careful with tite boom, I shot a few thousand rounds of 3.5 gr 9mm 147 grain out of my 1911 no problem, dirty.
Now im shooting 5.7 grains of Power Pistol 115 gr 9mm. I love it. clean
i might try VN340 when I run out of Power Pistol

I don't shoot nearly as much 9mm from a carbine as most of the other folks that will have suggestions, but I don't differentiate my 9mm loads between guns. Same load for everything. I've had great luck with 147s from Bayou and Blue and some others I can't remember right now maybe Acme? I'm not good enough to bother with different 9mm loads for different guns. Half in group size change doesn't matter to me for the 9mm shooting I do.

My Ruger PCC with glock mags does NOT like large open HP's. Federal HSTs jam up in it fairly often, the opening hangs up and fails to feed.

I picked up a Ruger PCC not long ago, like it quite a bit, and have been wanting to load some spicier rounds for it. My typical 9mm pistol loads are N320 with 147gr for soft gamer loads, and True Blue with 124gr for midrange loads. Recently got some VV N350, going to try working up some hotter loads. I typically run the RMR FMJ round nose, they are so reliable.

Make sure you have the updated feed ramp if you're going an AR platform. That way you can feed HP reliably.

I've been using CFE Pistol and Silhouette to send 68gr bullets at 2.3k fps.

4 grains of Bullseye behind a 115/124 is my favorite load. I use Xtreme or Everglades plated bullets. This load works well in my PCC and Glocks.

I like to set OAL with these bullets to 1.090" to 1.1". These chamber in my guns and feed from the mags well. Be sure to chamber check the loads in your firearms and insure they work in your mags before you load a bunch.

I use the same OAL as G421W...1.090 because it's what works best in my KUSA KR-9 and Sig MPX. Best thing I did though is buy my SHERIDAN 9 MM case gauge/checker, highly recommend it.

Yep on case checkers I have a EGW 50 round and a ShockBottle 100 round checkers.

I understand the temptation but be careful. Loading hotter for rifles can be done but you have to be 100% sure those loads do not get mixed up with the pistol loads. There is a reason published load data may say “rifle only”.
