Anyone here in the Monterey Bay Area?

Hi everyone, just curious if anyone here is from the Monterey Bay Area? Got hooked shooting the CMP games matches and see if anyone wanted to practice together.

I'm in that general area, a bit north of Monterey.

I have not shot much since pre-Covid, but used to shoot regularly at the weekend matches held at Laguna Seca by the Laguna Seca Shooting Sports Association (LSSSA), before the county terminated their contract with our club.

Where are these CMP matches held? Swiss Rifle Club? Is it Garands only, or other rifle types allowed?

Not MoCo but close enough. I’m secretary for this club SCVRC.com. We have the Metcalf 200yd range on most 2nd and 3rd Sundays. We host action pistol on the 3rd Sunday. San Jose Zouaves hosts CMP-style service rifle matches on other Sundays at Metcalf.
