Gear Any watch guys?

What's tactical?
Do we as gun people get looked at the way the rest of the world looks at watch people ?
If so I’m selling most of my guns
If you mean the way normies think there is no difference between a cheap department store quartz watch and any mechanical watch that isn't a Rolex then yeah.

Normies are right in the sense that someone buying a G-Shock or a Glock to actually use is going to get as much, or more, utility out of it than an acquirer will get from their twentieth Patwonk Migliotte or safe queen 2011.

Hey Resident Watch Gurus of CAGuns,
For a Casio MDV106 "Duro/Marlin"
Leave it stock? or upgrade the crystal to sapphire and slap a bracelet on it?
Honestly I'm super impressed with this thing.
The Bezel clicks nicely, the seconds hand hits the markers. Even the band is comfortable. Definitely gonna keep it.

It’s easy enough to replace if something goes wrong. Have at.

I woud definitely upgrade the crystal, as mine got scratched pretty easily.

Regarding bracelets, that can be iffy unless you are going to invest far more than the watch is worth in a quality bracelet. But if you do, please post the results here because I'd like to see what you did. Its a great idea.

Slap a barton silicone band on it and wear every day.

I am poor and I've been wearing a Casio duro with a silicone strap for 4 years.

I've taken it scuba diving, swam under the Golden gate and swam from alcatraz wearing the watch, works great.1000018349.webp

Started down the rabbit hole years ago. All I really wear is the citizen promaster and Rolex Air King. Everything else is for the kids to sell or keep down the road.
