Any recommendations for firearms (AR/Shotgun) training in Norcal (South Bay/San Jose)?

Hey CAgunners! Do any folks have recommendations for firearms training in Norcal/South Bay area? For context, I'm not new to shooting firearms and I do shoot USPSA (Carry Optics), so I'm used to shooting handguns on the move. I'm not new to AR/Shotguns either, but most of my experience with AR/Shotguns are on a static range, which is why I think this area needs the most work.

I'm looking to learn more about home defense with an AR/Shotgun and the knowledge/thinking behind why I should do this or that. I was considering Alpha Dog Tactical for the longest time, but the owner is moving out of California so that's a no go.

Other places that I've considered:
Manzano Tactical
Saber Tactics

So yeah, any folks have rec's on where to train or where to NOT train? Would love to hear everyone's experiences. Thanks!

look into Momarch Defense, an hour east of San Jose on some private land. If you prove safe, you can get busy out there. Brian is understandably wound tight, but a really cool guy if take it for what it’s worth.

Reeds Indoor range in San Jose has a shotgun classs and used to have AR class. LEO Defense out of Livermore has both kinds of classes you are looking for.

He had a bad rep but some reputable shooters and instructors I know took the shot gun course and said it was legit. I missed it last year but plan on it this year.

Brian is an intense dude, gets a bad rap from people that get their panties in a bunge. He is legit, knows & teaches the how, what and why. I have not taken his shotgun course, but he has the right set up for it, as I have camped out a few times there for his rifle courses. You will learn and have fun.
