I summited my ccw renewal though Antioch Police Department, It was submitted 90 days before expiring as they stated and now my ccw has expired over a month and the process is extremely slow for the hefty renewal fee they charge. Has anyone in this area had issues as well ?

Not for Antioch but in San Bernardino County many of us have been/are in the same boat as you. My permit expired 02/15 and although I received an approval email/text yesterday, my new card hasn’t been printed yet. Have you already called Antioch PD to ask for an update or ETA on your renewal?

I’ve been in contact with Antioch PD since 12/25 but they keep saying the application is with the Sargent and he never replies back

Maybe increase the frequency of your calls to become a thorn in their side, in the politest way possible, so they will want to get yours processed just to keep you from calling anymore? It’s hard to know how far to push it since you don’t want to step on toes of the one approving your renewal.

I have a feeling the residents of Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley etc. are going to miss the CC County system we all b*tched about.

I believe according to the penal code, agencies atleast for a new ccw have 90-120 days to approve/deny a ccw after the live scan has been submitted so I would believe it would be the same for renewal application has been done since in theory you do not have to re live scan since the initial live scan is still active (I think that's how it works)

Let us know- are Antioch CCW holders under the same goofy guidelines the Sheriff recently released & is about to get sued over?
No, just can’t modify the trigger. Antioch ccw fees are $472 compared what I paid with the Sheriff $160, 2 years ago.
