Didn't get my 1st choice but it was a long shot will just stick to an AO and probably pick up a D11 incase I see a deer while I am looking for a bear

I wanted to join the draw but I'm 100% nee to hunting and when I asked about how to get started on reddit people weren't helpful nor had info.

Can someone tell me how to get into hunting here in NorCal?

I am not an expert hunter by any means, but you'll want to take a hunter safety class first. Start here: https://wildlife.ca.gov/Hunter-Education

Once you get that set up you can make an account online so you can buy licenses, enter draws, etc. here: https://www.ca.wildlifelicense.com/internetsales/
