America First?

I’m not sure how this is going to be good. No help for farmers but bailing out Argentina who ended up selling what US farmers needed to sell.

I can’t seem to figure out the strategy for this one…

It’s a defacto bailout of Bessent’s financier buddies, Bessent having to claim it’s not a bailout pretty much confirms it is. Plus an ejection of China replaced by US companies to come in and plunder. None of that money is going to the starving people of Argentina.

It does not matter the party in power. They are owned lock, stock and barrel by financial interests whose agenda comes first, period.

Or should I say, entities and people heavily invested in Argentine debt, BlackRock, Fidelity, and Pimco, and former hedge fund colleagues such as Robert Citrone and Stanley Druckenmiller. Add to that the maybe possible 10 billion bailout of farmers whose foreign market was basically handed to China on a silver platter. My gut tells me they are going to let them hang to dry so corporate interests can finish the monopolization of the food supply, but........ we will see.
