Completely understandable. Not every part will be 100% drop in and will need some sort of fitting. I'm not too worried about the sear springs, I can always file down the width to make it fit, I just didn't want to do it then. But to be completely honest I like the EE kit a lot better (YMMV). The crisp, glass break of the sear/hammer paired with the super light hammer is different than the HD and EGW kit. With the hammer being designed the way it is, it has a nice sound to it too!

Yes. Cylinder & Slide is closing, slowly. For Action kits, the Extreme Engineering is effectively the same product. That is what we use here at Will's Gunsmithing. For the budget conscious we use the Wilson Combat Value Sear. WC or EE, we remachine the hammer to specific dimensional tolerances to optimize the break and to ensure there is no creep. For competitive shooters with the ultimate demand for performance and triggers in the 2# range we utilize EE. For 3# and greater the WC is great.
