While not impossible, and maybe it has happened somewhere (?) I have never worked a case with a shooting where they took the gun apart to look for a mag disconnect.

Doesn’t Brentwood’s policy require the pistols on the permit to be on roster?

Just went on their website and in the fine print it looks to be so. That is insane also.

Ehhh, in a scenario like this, I would rather just pay a little more for an off roster option in this scenario or choose an older on roster model that doesn’t have the MD. I can deal with LCI; but my OcD kicks in against an MD.

Any modded pistols customized for serious use I’ll just leave for home defense; if not just range toys.

So far, the sig m18 (on roster) I’ve just left as a home defense pistol option or possible steel challenge pistol (maybe in the future). I think the sig p320 drama has gotten my mind set to not want a round in the chamber pointed at my sea cucumber and Rocky Mountain oysters; in a appendix holster.

I would like to try out an aftermarket grip though. That stock Oem grip is a little beefy. I’m also a size small hands (glove size); I can also fit a XS nitrile glove. Just need to decide between WC or magpul. I might go for Magpul since I’m reading it’s smaller here.

Seems like there is a little more stippling pattern on the WC; the magpul seems more passive.

It works with the CA version or the non CA version. Only difference is the CA model has a cutout for the mag disconnect, doesn't hurt anything if you remove it.

Does the magpul, Wilson combat, or Icarus have that portion in the back that would get in the way of a set screw for an aluminum plus? I noticed the agency arms set screw got in the way of the Oem sig p320 grip; I would need to file a notch if I wanted the mag to seat all the way.

Correct on both. The WC texture is a lot better than stock to me

I've heard they are nice, though I'd like to throw in the Magpul grip as well. Got one of them for my M18 and it completely changed how the gun felt and shot. Sold my M18, but thinking about picking up another Magpul grip in black to put on my X5 when I feel like it.

Oh man i really wanted to like the magpul, but it felt too short for my hand. I was excited for it but as soon as i tried it, I hated it and switched back to the Wilson.

I've been carrying my Glock G19 the last two days since I took 3 of my Sigs to the range on Sunday and then put them away for cleaning. I love the width of the Glock, which just about 1.25". 1.25" is what the Wilson Combat website shows as the width of their grip module.

When I do holster practice, I include the step of disengaging the safety. I've always had to ensure a very particular motion to guarantee my thumb is in the right spot to do that at a particular point in the draw. That was mostly caused by the grip being slightly too wide for my hand. If I were actually drawing in a moment of panic, the wider stock grip could cause me to fumble that. I'm very tempted to order the Wilson grip module.
