Which optic footprint for a DWXc? Choices are RMR, RMSc, or DPP.

Which CGW optic plate should I get for the DWXc? I'm limiting myself to CGW plates only as I don't want the IM or CH plate.

Initially I was going to get the RMSc plate for the OSight SE, but I hate the buttons on the Osight despite its low cost. I'll probably return it (Amazon).

Whichever optic I get, I want it in green and around 2-3 MOS. DOT is a must, circle reticle optional.

I've never had a Delta Point Pro optic but this is a consideration if it comes in green.

I may carry the DWX Compact so I want to be sure the optic isn't too big. Do any of you carry with the 507 Comp or SRO?

CGW doesn't have a K optic footprint plate or I'd consider that for some of the smaller Holosun optics.

The SRO is a bit too expensive, though I know it's a nice optic. Make a case for that if you love it.

Historically I've been a fan of the 507 Comp Green as well, but does anyone think this is too big for the DWXc frame or for EDC?

Personally, even if it is not the best mounting system, I would go with the RMR simply because it is the more ubiquitous option.

That said, I’m building a backup G19 EDC to complement my other G19 EDC, and this one will be set up with a 507Comp.

I think the 507c will hang WAY off the edges of the slide. I took my EPS Carry off my p365 to show you this.

I’m putting the 507k on mine because I think even the EPS carry is gonna hang off the side a bit. If you don’t care that’s cool (the big window will be nice for competition) but just FYI. I might consider a plate from CZC or another reputable place if they offer a K footprint, this slide is really skinny. (I know you asked me already and I recommended CGW but if it meant I had to get an optic that didn’t fit right I’d probably get the plate elsewhere).

Delta point pro battery life isn’t so good, same with the eotech eflx. If you plan on constant on at a higher brightness setting; you’d be paying more either way in the long run in cr2032’s; hopefully you have a Costco membership to buy the batteries in packs or buy on Amazon prime in packs. At that point you might as well have just gotten a different DPP footprint optic for more with a better battery life.

Budget friendly DPP footprint with good battery life would be vortex defender series.

Sig Romeo x pro enclosed is the newer one; but the open emitter one will save you $100. These both are assembled in USA; built for carry purposes. Think of it like sigs version of RMR.

Rms footprint; sig Romeo x compact is another quality optic built for carry purposes.

I wouldn’t do the Osight; IMO you’d be better off with a Olight at that point.

SRO is a nice optic but not as good for hard impacts. However, I think it would look very good on that pistol; aesthetically .

What’s the intended use case for this pistol and optic? I noticed you said MAY concealed carry?
Competition? Home defense? Range toy? Safe queen?

Sounds like you are already leaning towards to Holosun 507comp; try it out. Yes, it might look a little big for a compact pistol (aesthetically) but if it works for your eyes and shooting; then go with it. Concealing it wise, work with it by choosing the appropriate size, thickness, and color garment/fabrics. Worst case scenario, if you don’t like it, rotate it to a different gun.

If you want a good all around budget friendly; and are partial to Holosun. What do you think of Holosun 509t? Enclosed emitter and good enough to stand up to abuse? If not 509t, how about the eps series?

If you get the DPP plate, check out the Holosun SCS320. Great optic, green dot, enclosed, solar.
