Hello!

Just got a DD 14.5inch upper and want to do a P&W job on it with a KVP Magnum Linear Comp I have laying around (2.25 inches)

Wanted to ask if anyone knew of any gunsmiths with reasonable prices that do P&W?

So far, best price I have found was $125.
Also open to Peninsula and SJ area.

Thanks!

I don't know how much it would be but call Glaser Arms in Brentwood. I bet Zach might do that.

I charge $60 to perm attach a steel muzzle device.
I do this while-you-wait for local customers.
If you ship it in, return shipping is $15-$30 depending on the overall package weight.

Damn that is a good price, if only you were local! Shipping there and back would have me close enough to the $125 mark I have locally.

Shipping is likely around $20 each way and it will be much quicker than 2 months that you have locally.

Choose your smith wisely. Took mine to a place in the Bay Area. They charged $100 and waited 2 weeks. When I picked it up I mentioned they must have done a really clean job because I couldn't even find the spot weld.... He said "I used rocksett on the threads, been doing it for years and no trouble yet". Didn't refund my money and argued he was a reputable gunsmith who knew the law.
