I have heard from a customer that has recently applied (within last few weeks of this email) and he mentioned that the PD's target is 4 months from start to finish of process.

Just an FYI if there are folks in the area thinking about it that previously applied with Alameda County (or still waiting on Alameda County from a previous application).. It may be faster to restart with local PD.
