Simplex lock safe

I've seen the Fort Knox brand get great feedback. Is this the only option? Is it the best option? I've seen them listed on Amazon, looks legit enough to buy there.

I just worry about my electronic safe failing in case of an emergency. I would like to keep my CCW and one home defense pistol in a Simplex lock safe.

Simplex is better than electric and biometric is worthless. For Knox is a solid safe. I had the pistol one and had nothing bad to say. Just out grew it but would buy it again.

There's a reason simplex has been around for a good while. It rarely fails.

I have a ft Knox one next to the bed and Is what I trust. I have a vaultek too but just use that to throw my ccw gun in when I walk in the door. Don’t trust it at all, very finicky even when you program your same finger as multiple users at different angles it doesn’t work consistently.

My brother Gave me his Fort Knox box when he bought his Big safe! (Lucked Out) PewPewTactical and others rated it the #1 box
Its about $300 and has a Simplex lock. easy to open. Its 10 ga. Steel...a Beast compared to most others. I have the Vaultex Travel safe
case too, but I wouldn't trust that to keep anyone out.

I have a couple Fort Knox pistol safes.

They built like tanks. Simple mechanical locks, with no electronics or batteries to fail. I believe they will probably last longer than I will.
