P365 STRIKER SPRING & BARELL QUESTION

Does the P365 striker assembly on newer models have the smaller internal spring inside the housing or just the main spring?

I am considering removing the LCI from my P365. Any recommendations for barrels that don’t have the LCM groove?

Just the main spring. The only first-hand evidence is from inspecting my own striker. My second-hand evidence is from reading on the web that the spring was removed when they altered the striker to address primer drag. You know you have the newer striker if the tip has a chisel shape. I can try to find references if you need. At best it will be anecdotal.

FYI--TL;DR AT THE BOTTOM --- Got a call from my FFL last week that my 365X was ready for pickup. Loaded up the 2 newest AR pistol builds, my shield, and other 365 and put lots of lead down range finally. Grabbed the mail on my way home and received my package from Shooter Lube-perfect timing...
