You are not required to send anything to CADOJ stating you are no longer the owner when you sell C&R guns registered to you through CFARS. Do I understand this correctly?

Thanks

C&R long guns that you sold to another California resident that doesn't need FFL, is that what you mean? Also remember any paperwork you submit for "disposition" doesn't remove your name from the firearm registration. Your name stays in their database Forever!

Both cases: a resident who already has C&R+COE and one who goes through FFL01. There isn't a requirement to notify CADOJ through CRIS when I sell is there?

The only ATF requirement for C&R FFL03 licensee, is for you to record your disposition entry in your own log book that corresponds to your acquisition entry for that item. C&R handguns must transfer through FFL01 and the buyer will go through the DROS process.

Thanks a lot for the explanation.
