Join us for a fun, family-friendly Project Appleseed 25-meter Rifle Marksmanship Clinic at the Tehama Shooters Association range at 26950 Manton Road, Red Bluff, CA on September 12-13, 8am-5pm.

During two full days of instruction and live fire practice, you will learn the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, including:
  • How to efficiently adjust your sight system and zero your rifle.
  • Proper use of a USGI rifle sling to stabilize your shots.
  • Natural point of aim — the point of impact where your relaxed body will place the shot.
  • The steady hold factors of the standing, seated, and prone positions.
  • The six steps to making the shot.
You will also learn about how marksmanship and aimed fire changed the course of history on April 19, 1775, the day the American Revolutionary War started. All history stories are presented free of modern politics, partisanship, ideology, and commentary in a way that is accessible to all.

Everyone is welcome at Project Appleseed! Youth are eligible to participate in this event, and women and girls are encouraged to sign up. Invite your family and friends to attend! Both centerfire and rimfire rifles are allowed.

Spouse and I are signed up for this, looking forward to it!

Excellent! Have a great time! I went to my first event with this crew a few weeks ago at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center, and they are all really good and fun instructors. I haven't been there, but I hear the Tehama range is in a nice, scenic location.

You know, I just realized we signed up for Concord and this is for Red Bluff - either way, it sounds like a great way for both of us to learn about rifles - most of my experience is with pistol. Thanks for sharing!

If you are going to Concord, there's a good chance I will see you there. That is also a great crew! I'm sure you will have blast.

I should also mention, if you are interested in pistol instruction too, there are 2 more pistol clinics on the calendar:
Pistol clinics seem to be very popular, so hopefully they add even more to next year's calendar than they had this year.
