Good class and one of the reasons I've developed as a competition shooter. Highly recommended. Plus James is super chill. You get a variety of training modalities at a local range throughout the year.

Bump for the Intro to Competition Class! This is a good affordable class to get into USPSA. USPSA is one of the cheapest ways to get better at pistol handling. You will learn several skills in this class and through competition.

@T3 Pros I looked at your webpage and I saw an openings for the pp1 which would probably be most appropriate for me, but when I watched your test - you shoot it with the red dot (which seems to be sort of a mainstream these days)

I`m a new shooter, been shooting handgun less than 6 months (approx 2krounds) but I can a put 70+ (or even 80) on 25 yards in b8 target on a good day (not consistently) but I absolutely don`t want to use the red dot because I feel like I need to learn how to properly use out of the box firearm first. Is it gonna be a deal breaker?

Hi there! Thanks for your interest! There is no requirement to shoot a red dot in any of our classes. We typically have a good mix of iron sights and red dots in most of our classes. The principles and techniques to "shoot gooder" apply regardless of sighting platform. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions!

I have taken multiple classes from T3 Pros. James is an excellent teacher, his ability to pinpoint how to make you a better shooter and disseminate knowledge easily makes his classes one of the best. His teaching style is light hearted, and conversational, which takes a lot of pressure of beginners. If you want a great beginner class or a class that will really hone your advance skills the various classes offered will fit your build.

Do you allow drawing from appendix in your CC1 class? I've only been practicing draws at home because I can't find a bay area range that allows holster work. It'd be great to get some instruction on appendix draws and get actual live fire reps in.

I don't teach a concealed carry specific class, but I do allow draw from appendix in the Performance Pistol 1 class as long as you have experience with it. If a person has never drawn from appendix before, I prefer they start with OWB, strong side in the class.
