EXAKT primers (Indonesia) any thoughts?

i recently found these online for $48/1k for small rifle primers and I bought a couple thousand. I haven't ever tried them and I wanted them for .223 plinker rnds. I was just curious if anyone had any input on them. I was going to buy the MURON (Russia)small rifle magnum primers at 5k/$259 but I ended up getting the EXAKT primers instead. seemed like a good deal and I would be willing to try them to see if they served my purpose. i usually use cci 450's

recently got them in the mail a couple of days ago as I didn't have them in hand when I made my last post. I loaded up about 100 rounds of .223. I haven't had a chance to shoot these yet but they should go bang . I figured I'd share as I have never heard of this brand until recently. I am really not happy about paying damn near 100 bucks for a brick of primers, I prefer the pre covid days of around $30per 1k. Anyway, these seem to seat a bit easier than the cci 450's, as the 450's would hang up occasionally on a primer pocket. after a few trips to the range, if all is good I will buy 10k of these at least....

haven't tried the rifle primers but the small pistol primers were a bad batch with about 15% of them not firing, a few in every magazine for sure. but if they work they work, so if you have them might as well try them if you already have them. I have had better luck with Servicios y Aventuras and they're cheaper too.

Interesting. It's not a very promising thing to hear but like you said I do have them in my hand already so I might as well try them I wasn't able to find anything negative about them other than what you just said. I suppose I'll cross my fingers for now and just see what happens luckily I didn't buy a bunch just yet

Yeah I haven't seen anything negative anywhere else online either so who knows!

i saw these forsale at tundra michigan pretty early in the year and it seemed a lot of people had no problems with them and preform like any other primer. First impression of them was they looked like the old murom tula/wolf primer boxes. The font is almost identical. Many have caught onto this and think its really just russian primers being "made" in indonesia for embargo reasons.

The SRP loaders were saying they were hard like mil-spec. . they seem to be like many primers from the East. little hard and on the large side of spec.
