Driving carrying appendix

I've used my CCW once in 27 years (didn't shoot the guy) and I have only ever carried appendix. And it was in a low-crime OC beach town. What works for you doesn't work for everyone.

Yeah I know that's why I told him I carry strong side, the internet seems to love appendix however it's not as good for day to day use, that's why cops carry strong side

After my surgery, I gained a gut that makes appendix not so comfortable anymore. 4 o'clock feels amazing and I forget that it's there sometimes. I just feel much more secure when my firearm is appendix.

I'm a bigger guy (working on it). Deep conceal holsters have worked great for me. I have driven 7+ hours carrying appendix and had no issues. For smaller CCW guns, I just switched the clip to ulticlips and have them ride higher than the original standard clips and that's worked great too.

JX Tactical and Fattac make them and have a wide variety of options. I have holsters from both. They're definitely pricey, but having a solid holster I trust and is comfortable for me is worth it.

I used to mostly buy from Tactical Justice becauae they had almost the same quality but more affordable and options for my preferred light, but I don't think they're in business anymore

This is what mine looks like. Not super secure but better than many other ones I have seen.

I mean the console vault seems secure, but that next to the dash thing does not look secure at all.

place seatbelt over holster to ensure/maintain proper belt placement in relation to pelvis and avoid doing the whole behind your holster thing.

Also, car mounted holsters like those shown where they're bolted on or "quick access" in some way are a bad idea from a safety standpoint when accidents occur, airbags are deployed/involved, etc.
