CZ Scorpion 3+ stock adjustment

I need to adjust the LOP on my Scorpion.

The stock doesn't fold and it's pinned in place.

Anyone ever remove, adjust and reinstall theirs?

It depends on what stock is on it. If it’s the fixed OEM stock it’s very easy. A the rear of the stock there is a lever when squeezed will allow the stock to expand. When CZ pined them they did so really cleanly and simply. Look at the lever (squeeze) and you will see a very small (like a 1/16) roll pin. Push it out and the adjustment lever is allowed to work. Set it where you want it and put the roll pin back in. Now to modify the stock to fold is a whole different thing.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I did not see any rollpin that small. Can you point it out?

That is a Zhukov stock…and the simplest !! On the butt pad there are two screws holding the rubber pad on. Thane out those screws. It may be under spring load…but it may not be also. When you take the rubber pad off the lever should be able to move which in-place allows the length to be adjusted. Find the spot and put the pad and screws back. Now to “pin” this stock from being adjustable the spring may be removed and something the s-ring is still in with something inside to limit it. Personally my stock was an adjustable unit so I took a bamboo shish kabob skewer stick, cut it to length , put it inside the spring, and put the butt pad back on. That blocks the latch from moving thus pinning the lever. I’ve seen people drill and screw this Zhukov and it’s way over kill. This should take you 2 mins. Enjoy.

You were right, it took me longer to take the screws out.

Am I correct by saying if the pin is removed and the spring is installed by itself, that stock becomes adjustable? I didn't try it, reason for asking.

Appreciate your help!

Yup. Now mine is an adjustable (spring) unit blocked with the bamboo kabob skewer as I said above. The bamboo piece is the same length as your “pin”

Your unit is a magpul. The CZ unit is using a roll pin. IMHO you have the better butt stock in the Zhu. Enjoy 🍺
