Cop’s Indecision Leads to Death

In my CCW class (San Bernardino), were were asked not to get involved unless it's absolute necessary. It's more or less because of civil and criminal liability since this state is not friendly toward gun owners. Even if you're 100% right, it can be expensive. Our sheriff is relatively pro 2A.

Mistake: When perp is attempting to take firearm, she should have shot him.

This aside from letting the perp get too close etc...

Once the perp took the officer's firearm it's open season on the perp and he got what he deserved. The perp could've surrendered peacefully, or kept running, but instead chose to take the officer's firearm and police vehicle which sealed his fate.
