Women don't play by or understand male rules of engagement so they generally escalate male versus male conflict without realizing it. She should have stayed in the vehicle. The guys may have been able to work it out.

Whether it’s always conscious or not I think they generally know what they’re doing, it’s testing the men they’re with. Makes sense why that would be engrained in women from an evolutionary perspective but we (and by we, I mean women too) can step above that and ignore those impulses.
