I cant justify that cost. it's not like getting to the 405 down Santa Monica is a bundle of joy
Where do you live because it’s 10 minutes for me no freeway
And the technology and amenities is pretty cool hopefully soon will be able to pay for it

update: doesnt sound like I do have to interview with the chief? I just got notified to coordinate picking up my renewal next week after inspection monday
Wow, that’s amazing. Maybe because you’re doing a renewal but I guess I’m applying so I have to do an interview.

south side. a few blocks east of Roxbury park. JMO the traffic to where RangeLA is and the traffic to LAX range isnt tremendously different. and I will frequently pair surfing the South Bay with LAX range. or to and from the airport for whatever reason (and I did my CCW classes there with VIP). LAX platinum is 595 annual and pops you to front of line. granted. sometimes there's still a wait. but midday usually not busy. tends to be crowded weekends and opening and late. no it doesnt have range LA's amenities, but....im there to shoot, not shoot the 💩. range LA starts at 3500/year. granted pretty much never a wait. so. your mileage may vary. I dont otherwise have much reason to be near either location generally tho.

We’re neighbors lol
Wanna split membership at range la ha

I struggled very much with the cost and I am a neighbor of both of you. In terms of traffic, It takes me 10 minutes to get there from my door, I train and leave. I went from going to LAX a couple times a month to going to The Range a couple times a week. It's also much safer, less exposure to noise and the lower lead exposure all make it worth it to me. The cleaning room is pretty fantastic as well to be able to clean quickly after shooting and get home all packed up and done. The staff and ownership are really nice, friendly and helpful. Not that LAX doesn't have some good people, but the friendly and professional vibe of the staff at The Range is night and day and just not comparable. I don't have a guest eligible membership (for those that were thinking about pm'ing me) :p. I would have to say, after deciding to join, I am really happy I did it. I didn't chime up to evangelize for the place (though I am sure this post feels like it) just would be nice to know who some of my neighbor members are, so if any of you join, pm me.

it is undoubtedly a "nicer" experience. I mean you are paying the "starting at" $3500 for something. these are of course individual value judgements. I could be wrong but I heard they (Range LA) are sorta struggling with membership #s. JMO they should do something like $1k and a nominal fee/session. they would probably get a large boost in #s, but majority of people probably wouldn't use it regularly keeping their ability to provide lanes without waits
