Hello all,

For those curious about the timeline for a non-resident AZ CCW permit, here's mine:

7/18: Applied through AZ DPS CCW website and submitted my application, proof of competence with firearm, DL
7/19: Submitted digital fingerprints through a local Fieldprint
7/22: Received a text and email that my permit was approved
7/29: Received permit in the mail

11 days total. wild

Had a similar experience back in December. Mind-bending how quickly it went through. Florida was also very fast.

I don’t know when mine will arrive, but good lord the approval was fast… and they were waiting for my fingerprint cards to arrive by mail to boot. They received those in a PO Box Thursday (8/7), literally less than two days prior to my approval (which came at 1 am this morning).

My Georgia permit was issued when the 737’s wheels hit the runway at Hartsfield Airport. Took about 4 hours total.😄

Say what... It's not a race, but wow 😂
My guess was because Georgia is (maybe) one of the states that doesn’t require a permit for concealed carry(?) So you effectively have your “permit” the moment you touch Georgian soil 😅 (the four hours I’m also assuming is flight time from CA (or where ever) to Georgia).

Georgia is constitutional carry, open or concealed in most public places. I never wanted to carry a firearm until I was told that I didn’t need a permit to do it.😆
