Greetings…! My son just bought a C96 Mouser and he/we are looking to reload ammo for it. The caliber is 7.63x25, also referred to as 30 Mouser. If you care to share your reloading data that would be great! I am a seasoned reloader so all necessary reloading precautions will be taken as we work up a load. Thanks guys, much appreciated! -Geo

Several of my loading manuals have data for that.
What manuals do you own?

I use the Lyman 49th Edition as a source. However, the load data is combined with 7.62 Tokarev. It almost implies that the two calibers are interchangeable simular to the .223 and the 5.56??

They are so close that you can use tokarev starting loads in 30 Mauser and then work up loads to the velocity you expect.

Tokarev and 30 Mauser have different max pressure specs so you will not want to use tokarev max loads in the Mauser but the starting loads are fine in both.

I appreciate the information. I’ll start with the recommend starting weight and work up. Any bullet weight recommendations? Thanks again.
