Losing my RGB because of a DUI that happened to be a felony seems kind of ridiculous to me. How about you?

Is this only for felony dui or any felony? I remember hearing about some talk about people being able to get their firearms rights back through expungement.

Not so, only a Gubernatorial Pardon can restore gun ownership. I think it's been done only 12 times post WWII. Might be incorrect. PAX

It's true for all felonies, and for prohibiting misdemeanors. Please refer to Penal Code section 1203.4. Here is the pertinent text:

"Dismissal of an accusation or information pursuant to this section does not permit a person to own, possess, or have custody or control of a firearm or to prevent conviction under Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 29800) of Division 9 of Title 4 of Part 6."
